If there are any pet owners who are concerned about dental hygiene for their pets but have trouble “brushing their teeth”, I would recommend this product. I’m a cat owner myself and because I do get concerned about my cat’s health, I try to keep up with all the necessaries. Since I’ve used this product my cat hasn’t had any bad reactions and I’ve gotten good results from the vet. I would definitely recommend it to others

If you own a pet then you need this to help keep their teeth clean! My vet recommended it to me a couple of years ago & it’s made a huge difference in the health of their teeth. My vet said it helps stop plaque build up on their teeth & I believe him. Before I’d spend $800 per dog every year just to get their teeth cleaned, now they go every 18 months. Hey, if it saves me THAT much money then I’m happy to keep spending $18 every couple of months. Very easy product to use, just put it in their water, stir and it does the rest for you. There’s no smell. The dogs & even the cat don’t seem to know it’s in their water. So win, win!

I have to say I was skeptical, but this one is definitely working. My Chihuahua just turned 17 and her teeth were almost as brown as black tea and she refuses to let me brush her teeth and I refuse to have her put her under for a Vet to clean them and have a costly expense on top of it. So I did some research and across this product and so far after 2 weeks of use I'm finally seeing a difference and her breath is starting to smell much much better too. I highly recommend it.

I knew before I bought this product that I needed to remove the carbon filter from my pet fountain or the filter would just remove all of the good stuff the dental additive puts in the water. What I didn’t know, is that this product has to be completely flushed and replaced daily and the fountain needs to be cleaned out. I have one cat who only likes to drink moving water, but fountains typically take 2 L of water which is about a week’s supply. They are also time consuming to take apart and clean out every nook and cranny. Therefore I tend to clean it every week or so and replace with fresh water. I've been using Oratene's Drinking Water Additive for my 8 year old pit-mix for about 2 weeks now. I was drawn to this product because it appears to be the veterinary line produced by Biotene, which is a human mouthwash that I have sworn by for years.After trying another water additive a while back, I was reluctant to try any others. It had been minty flavored (not in itself a downside, except that I think my dog was opposed to the flavor) and it caused the water to foam. Suffice it to say, my pup wouldn't get NEAR that water. That was probably a year ago, and recently I decided to look for another product to hopefully help combat her bad breath. My dog is adopted, I have no idea what her diet or medical care was like in her previous life. We are not even completely sure of her age but the vet tells me 2-3. Her teeth are a light/medium yellow color, some light browning at the gum line towards the molars which is fairly normal for a dog her age. My vet suggested this when I asked about our Yorkies breath. We adopted her from ARF she was a little over a year old and hair and teeth were neglected. Her breath was so bad that just sitting in my lap it was so strong.
